Live Music Capital of the world, Austin, Texas, is no stranger when it comes to large
scale music events. The city hosts major festivals like ACL and SXSW, as well as some
smaller ones like Bat Festival and Marfa Myths Festival. With all these events though,
there can be some drawbacks for the city and the people. Austin Music People helps
combat the struggles associated with events and helps make the scene beneficial to the
attendees and the city.

Here are 5 reasons Austin needs Austin Music People:

SPECIAL EVENTS TASK FORCE

The Special Events Ordinance was approved on May 10, 2018. The final
implementation of the ordinance is the Special Events Task Force that convened on
April 1, 2019. Stakeholders will have the chance to dig into how the SEO will affect
seven different events. AMP will continue to reach out to each event producer to
register feedback and alert on developments from the city.
