How Do Trees Affect the Weather?

It is a universal fact that trees are the lungs of our world, and they are the
ornaments of the land as well. Everyone likes greenery and not only the human
beings but also the birds and animals like those places where tall trees and
greenery is available. All the great nations of the world like protect and plant
jungles, forests and trees and they are already aware of its importance.
For the development of any country it should occupy twenty-five percent of
forests on its lands. Unfortunately, the total forests area of Pakistan including
range land is 8.63 hectares which becomes 4.8 % its total area and which is a
very less amount. Our religion Islam guides us in this regard very clearly.
Our History shows that the Muslims have given much importance to planting
trees and protecting the existing one. For example, Hazrat Abubakr (R.A) the
first caliph when sending an expedition for a battle of Mota gave the
instructions that “Do not cut down trees and do not kill animals except for food
even in the enemy territory”.
Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) said on one occasion “If you have a sapling, If you
have the time, be certain to plant it, Even if Doomsday start to break Forth.”
Now we will describe the effects of the trees on weather.
Trees have a very good effect on weather, they make the weather cooler and
pleasant, They Produce oxygen during their photosynthesis and are the only
ray of hope for the survival on this planet. Beside this trees use carbon dioxide
gas which is exhaled by other animals. Thus they play a good job in cleaning the
environment. More and more trees and forests bring rains and thus maintain
the hydrological cycle.
Forests have high value for the environment and have got global attention in
combating greenhouse effect. Trees play a major in reducing global warming
they also reduce of any kind. We should more and more trees on the banks of
the dams, canals and streams. They will in purification the water from pollution
through its roots. Trees reduce the intensity of warming in a very pleasant
manner.
If the trees are removed from the earth, all the glaciers and snow covered
areas will be melted at once due to global warming , Thus this beautiful world
would not be remain forever.
