Leadership
My philosophy is that above all else, it is important to be present. I strive to learn and continue to grow as an
individual. I am very active in music. As a leader, I have participated in every concert, marching contest, and
band event. My team relies on me, and I know I can count on them. I have not missed any time during
summer band camp, football games, concerts, and volunteering events. I have been in the position of learning
from professors and student leaders, as well as functioning as a leader. My experience is that the best leaders
are also the best students. I strive to be both.
