TESLA INTERNAL ANALYSIS


Tesla has built a good reputation in that they produce high quality products to
customers using cutting-edge technology. In this section we will do an internal analysis
of our company Tesla. The analysis allows us to identify all of Tesla’s tangible and
intangible resources, capabilities and core competencies and to determine what sets
Tesla apart compared to its competitors in the Electric Vehicle (EV) industry. Core
competencies refer to the unique, deeply embedded strengths within Tesla while
capabilities are the managerial and organizational skills used to manage and utilize
Tesla’s diverse resources. In terms of resources; tangible resources have physical
attributes while intangible resources have no physical attributes yet add benefits to
Tesla.

First, we will look at the resources and capabilities followed by the SWOT
analysis.
