Evidencia 2: Workshop “Products and services”

La lectura es una de las habilidades más utilizadas en el mundo, pero a la vez es la menos
motivante, dado que en ocasiones hay textos muy extensos y con vocabulario complejo
que dificulta su comprensión y le resta interés al texto; afortunadamente existen nuevos
métodos que facilitan obtener la información necesaria y con ello aumentar el léxico
personal.

En este orden de ideas y con la finalidad de cumplir con el propósito de esta evidencia,
consulte el material complementario denominado Integration of products and services.

Luego de esta consulta, resuelva el siguiente taller sobre comprensión lectora:

1. Find the main idea of paragraphs 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, and 12, and write them in a
paragraph.

Make the new economy known and that the service whit the product be made known
in order to innovate and have greater productivity in the market and digital economy
that they manage.

2. Write a summary of ten lines from the text.

Three factors combine to reshape the foundations of the modern economy. First, the
digital revolution that thanks to it dramatically increases the reach, flexibility and agility
of new and large companies, new companies, as micro – multinationals that focus on
technology at the global level. The second is international competition that attracts new
workers and consumers. The third son cultural and sculptural tendencies that change
the nature of socio –economic interactions with changing people´s aspirations and
preferences, these factors created the new digital economy by innovating the economy
globally thanks to the invention of intercommunicated digital electronic systems.
Generating new opportunities for empliynment and service, guaranteeing great
progress at a global economic level.
3. Choose a paragraph and translate it with your own words.

In Europe there are many things due to the loss of domain in certain areas, there are
many fields where companies can lead worldwide operating at the intersection of
products and services. Industry 4.0 is commonly known, but there are other areas at
stake such as medical technology, smart cities, the circular economy, learning systems
and intelligent transport systems, the integration of services and services almost always
based on data and enabled for interoperability, making the sea technology adopted by
all companies and traditional sectors giving priority to theology.

4. Choose ten words from the text and organize them alphabetically. Look for the
meaning of each word.

- Advantage: a condition or circumstance that puts one in a favourable or superior

position
- Deindustrialization: the development of industries in a country or región on a wide
scale
- Employment: the state of having paid work
- Growing: undergo natural developmet by increasing in size and changing physically
- Investment: the action or process of investing money for profit
- Provided: on the condition or understanding that
- Rather: used to indicate one´s preference in a particular matter
- Reminder: a thing that causes someone to remember something
- Reshoring: the practice of tranferring a business operation that was moved
overseas back to the county from which it was srcinally relocated
- Sustained: continuing for an extended period or without interrumption

5. Match the term with the corresponding meaning.
