Idea 1

Pros

Linear easier to understand the storyline

Linear would means we don't give away the ending straight away and there
is something to be found out in the end (may give audience intellectual
pleasure - when something is revealed in the end which may give audience
some thrill from the unexpected)

Cons

May be too simple and too expected

We won't be able to show the worker's reaction after killing the boss which
is what some viewers might want to see

Idea 2

Pros

Non linear could make more complex

Non linear would make it easier to understand that he’s addicted to killing
using a flashback
Non linear creates suspense

Cons

Non linear could be confusing to audience if done incorrectly, e.g. viewers

may be confused as to why it started in a basement with a dead body if we
don't express it well enough
May look unprofessional

Idea 3
Pros

We are able to show how the outcome of the murder effected the worker -
he loves to kill
Creates a sense of scene
Lures the viewers in because they are wondering why there is a man
surrounded by dead bodies in his basement
Creates a sense of thrill

Cons

The mise en scene will be hard as we need to find people to act dead as well
as cover their bodies in fake blood
May not make a lot of sense for why killing one person led to him killing
more people - the opening is too short for this so may be confusing
