OBJECTIVES: To formulate guide lines for back filling in between shoring & retaining wall

1 Clean the filling area for timber cute pieces Foreman AE

3 Get the back fill material from the stock pile Foreman AE
which is free of organic material which will not TO
include decompose materials for not causing
any excess settlement
4 Start back filling in an area where the retaining Foreman AE
wall is cured for minimum of one week period. TO

5 Back Filled area will be compacted in 300mm Foreman AE

layers. Mostly the heavy equipment operations TO
are not use in backfilled area to reduce
tremendous amount of pressure placed on the
retaining wall.
 6 Back fill up to 1m level & call pest control team AE PM
to apply chemical application for ant termites.
Light compaction equipment is used close to
the retaining wall due to heavily pressurize may
have the impact to the design due to surcharge
of large equipment.

7 Request for inspection AE PM

8 Repeat the item 3,4,5 up to 2m Foreman AE
TO
9 Ensure the HSE during the entire process Safety Officer PM
