Dear Church Family,

It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are just

around the corner. I hope that all of us will take time to be thankful for what
our God has done and is doing in our lives, not just on Thanksgiving Day,
but every day. Our God is great and “greatly to be praised.”

During the Christmas holidays many classes and groups will, as usual, have
parties and fellowships. That’s a good thing. But please remember, that is an
excellent time to invite the unchurched and even unbelievers to your
fellowships. Some people will come to those events before they will ever
come to church. Use that time to develop friendships and then get to that
place where you invite them to Bible study and worship.

The trials of life come in many forms and from so many different directions.
Even when we do not understand them, we can be assured that God is still
very much in control, and He is allowing them

Assistance Program
If you are in need of Holiday Assistance with
food or toys (Ages 0-15), please contact the
Care Center office at (863) 635-5555 Monday-
Friday 9am - 4pm.
Applications will be accepted October 14 through
December 13, 2019. Schedule your application
appointment today!
Required Documents for Holiday Program
Registration:
• Proof of Household Income For 4 Weeks
(pay stubs, official employer’s letter, SS
determination letter, SNAP determination letter,
child support, etc.)
• Proof of Frostproof Residency
(driver’s license, electric bill, water bill, bank
statement)
• Proof of Expenses
(rent bill/lease, utilities, car payment, etc.)
• Photo ID
• Social Security Cards for Household
Members
Note* First Baptist Church will collect 1 lb.
can yams, turkey gravy packets and box
stuffing. Items may be dropped off at the office
or church foyer.

Each year our church supports Christmas gifts
for children and students in our church and
community. This year the Angel tree names will
be available in the foyer on Sunday, November
17, 2019.
Ages begin with babies to youth. Pants, shirts,
and dress sizes will be provided. Also, each card
will list several hobby items. You may purchase
gift cards, give a monetary gift, or purchase the
gift. If you would like Mandy to shop for you,
please let her know.
Please have wrapped gifts returned to the office
no later than Monday, December 16, 2019.

Thank You Note Ladies Prayer Brunch

Dear Church Family,
Thank you so much for all the prayers, cards and
support. Thanks to all who contributed for
Gerald’s service and the meal afterwards.

I want to thank everyone for their support. We pray
the ladies enjoy and come away blessed as Lois and
I have.
The purpose of our Ladies Prayer Brunch is to build
relationships. Then we can minister to each other
and minister in the community.
We have wonderful food, skits, music, videos,
devotions and just maybe a field trip! In September,
Kim Grieves blessed us with several songs.

Our next Ladies’ Prayer Brunch will be December

All children and youth are invited to attend the
Christmas Program practice at 11:00 a.m. on
Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall.
