Bakers 2nd Grade Class 😊
Hello Parents/Guardians!
Here is a little about me:
My name is Ms. Baker and I am so
excited to be your students 2nd grade
teacher this year! I am not married
yet, but I do have a wonderful
boyfriend named Jesse. We have 1
cat whose name is Cosmo and he is
our fur baby! I come from a pretty
big family. I am the oldest of 8 kids
and we are all from Burleson, Texas!
I graduated from Hill College with my
associate degree and I graduated
from Tarleton State University with
my bachelor’s degree in
Interdisciplinary Studies. Go Texans!
I am going on my third year of
teaching 2nd grade. I have a passion
for working with kids and I knew I
was being called to be a teacher at a
young age. So far, I have loved every
single year and I can’t see myself
doing anything else but teaching. It’s
going to be such a good year and we
are going to have fun while learning!
In my classroom I use cooperative
learning, so I have a good feeling we
are going to see a lot of great success
in each individual child and the class
as a whole!

Important activity reminder!
One thing to remember is that each student will
make a book about themselves. By Thanksgiving
break the student’s book will be complete. This
has been my student’s favorite activity (and mine!)
in the past. It is so much fun and we get to learn
about each student and their family! Please
remember they should bring in a baby picture
and a family picture if possible. If not, no worries
the student can draw their pictures.
