Class XII (SCIENCE)
Dear Parents
Please note down the holiday home work of the summer break.
English:
1. Read the novel ‘The Invisible Man’ by H.G.Wells.
2. Practice Worksheet will be given.

Physics:
Do the given worksheets of the following chapters:
Unit I. Electrostatics (Chapter 1&2)
Unit II. Current Electricity (Chapter 3)

Chemistry:
Do the Special Assignments given of the following chapters:
Chapter-1. The Solid State; Chapter-2.Solutions; Chapter-3. Electrochemistry;
Chapter-4.Chemical Kinetics; & Chapter-5.Surface Chemistry.

Mathematics:
Solve the work sheets given of the chapters:
1. Determinants
2. Continuity and Differentiability

Psychology:
1. Complete the project work. Follow the guidelines given and discussed in the class.
2. Complete the given worksheet
3. Complete the practical on personality

Economics:
Complete the given assignment worksheet 4 and 5. Write the solutions in the notebook.

Biology:
1. Complete the work assigned for the project and prepare the project report.
2. Complete the practice assignment of chapter 5 and 6.
3. Complete the practical record file.

Computer Science:
Solve the work sheets given of the chapters:
Chapter-1. C++ Revision Tour; Chapter-3. Function Overloading; Chapter-4. Classes and Objects;

General Studies:
It is compulsory to grade the students on General Studies Project. These grades are reflected in the
mark sheet issued by CBSE. Each student is required to prepare a presentation (PPT) not exceeding
10 min duration OR a written project of not more than 12 pages. A comprehensive list of project
topics is being provided and the students will choose the topic for the presentation according to the
roll nos. No change of the topic is permitted. The students have to present their project in front of the
class when the school reopens.
Resources such as newspapers, books, magazines, T.V news channels and Internet (relevant website)
can be used. You can also collect primary data by interviewing people or having discussion with
peers, parents, relatives or neighbours.

B. Your presentation should include the following:
1. Title of the topic.
2. Introduction to the topic.
3. Why do you feel strongly about the selection of this topic?
4. Points of discussion (Research done on the topic)
5. What will be your contribution or an appeal to people viz-a-viz the topic you have chosen?
6. Conclusion (stating clearly if you want to strengthen a move / an issue or you want to condemn it
depending on the topic)
7. Credits/list of resources used / bibliography
C. Your presentation will be graded according to the following criteria:
1. Understanding of the topic
2. Script / Content of the slides
3. Specific technology used (Audio /Video Clippings)
4. Presentation
5. Conclusion
