Controlling and monitoring user access to the database.
Implementing SQL server profiler for performance optimization.
Involved in database fragmentation and compression.
Running DBCC consistency checks, and fixing data corruption in user databases.
Controlling user access permissions and privileges.
Rebuilding indexes, involved in Planning and Monitoring Log Shipping.
Involved in Mirroring database, replication, clustering.
