Pre-lesson:
1. Write anagrams of key topic vocabulary words on
the board, example: t r h o b r e (brother).
2. Put pupils into pairs of groups and ask them to work
Activities :
out the words by completing the anagrams.
3. If pupils find this difficult provide the first letter of
each word or provide a picture to help them with
meaning.
4. When finished, volunteers from each group need to
describe about the picture.
ex: She has got big eyes.
He has got black hair.
Lesson delivery:
5. Teacher writes simple sentences on the board about
your own family.
ex: My name is Hana. I’ve got three sisters and two
brothers.
6. Pupils draw a picture of themselves and write at least
five sentences about their family.
7. Display the pictures in the classroom.
8. Review questions Has he/she got a brother? by
asking some pupils.
Post-lesson:
9. Divide pupils into pairs.
10. Choose about 7 pictures related to the lesson.
11. Put some stripes in a bag then ask pupils to take out
a stripe and read aloud in front of the class.
12. Each pairs of pupils have to tick on the table based
on the information given in the stripes.
