• trained machine learning model for transportation rates prediction which is used in route optimization engines.
• developed a python app for finding route distance using services like Mapquest, PC Miler, Mapbox, google distance api,
etc.
• minor dash-boarding work on Tableau and database work on PostgreSQL.

Projects
Trafic Sign Detection and Recognition | IIT Roorkee 1st January 2019 - 30th April 2019
• Used two different approaches for Cautionary traffic sign detection and recognition :
1. Traditional Image Processing and Machine Learning
- Used color segmentation(cautionary traffic signs have red color boundary) for finding ROIs and used bounding box ,
morphological processing and convex hull properties to narrow down the possible ROIs.
- Used SVM for traffic sign classification on segmented ROIs.
2. Trained a convnet SSD_Mobilenet_V1 (TensorFlow model zoo) for traffic sign detection and recognition.
Survey Solani River Flood Plains And Create its Topographic Map and DEM | IIT ROORKEE
25th November 2017 - 9th December 2017
• This project aimed at developing a GIS based digitised map around the Solani River bank area.
• Use of GPS Receiver, Total Station and QGIS Software were the key elements of the project and with these help we
tackled an engineering problem of connecting the old highway with the new by-pass in that area.
• This Project also gave an idea of wide application of machine learning in QGIS and mapping.
