Subject:- Regarding Issues in the Girls Hostel

Respected Sir ,

I beg to state to you about the current situation and issues of the Girls Hostel which are
causing lot of Inconvenience . Kindly look into the following matters :-

1. From last one month there is no hostel caretaker both during the day time as well as
the night time. There is a need of care taker is required especially during night time ,
we need atleast one caretaker who stay in girls hostel premises during night in case of
any emergency like medical issues , etc.
2. As recently there were frequent light outs in the hostel , it caused damage to many of
the tubelights , fans etc., which arosed the need to call electrician at night which is
also a reason for need of care taker at night. This long absence of Hostel caretaker has
hampered the routine activities of the Hostel.
3. There is a crisis of security guards in the girls hostel. There is requirement of 9 guards
but at present there are only 6 security guards available for all three blocks of Girls
Hostel which is causing inconvenience in the performance of hostel activities .
4. From last 15 days the change in the timings of Housekeeping Staff has caused
inconvenience to the residents of the girls hostel as there is no proper cleaning of
hostel , rooms or washroom.
5. From last 15 days the cleaning staff has stopped using garbage bags, and when the
same was asked from the Supervisor he gave the reason of lack of funds. We need
proper disposal of garbage as there are chances that our personal belongings might
get misplaced.
6. The Boundary Wall of the Old Girls Hostel was earlier fenced with the Barbered wire
which now has been broken as has increased the chances for any mishap to happen.
We need a proper fencing in the backside boundary of the Girls Hostel to ensure
safety of the residents of the Hostel.
 7. From last 10 days the cooler repairing work and other related work done by Mr. Asif
Ali has stopped as he is not providing services of repair for any cooler and is only
installing the new coolers. Also the charges for the services provided by him are very
expensive and unreasonable.

I hope you would understand the urgency of these issues and would come up with some
suitable solutions at the earliest.
