I am a candidate for the Mayor of Ravenswood for the Democratic Party.

Biography:
 I was born and raised in the small community of Morrisvale in Boone County.
 Graduate of Scott High School
 Married to my high school sweetheart for 46+ years until his death in 2012 of
Agent Orange illnesses. He served in the Navy with two tours in Vietnam.
 I have two children: Son Mike (has lived in Ravenswood many years), worked at the
plant until disabled. Daughter Tracy Rae lives in NC and works for a Federal Judge
as a Court Reporter.
 Faithful companion Dunlap’s Mariah Cheyenne, a German Shepherd, I adopted at
the age of 18 months. She just turned 14.
 Worked most of my life at several different jobs allowing me to gain valuable
training in different types of work, most with accounting back ground.
 I have been a collector most of my life. I collect a diverse number of things but
love vintage costume jewelry. I enjoy crafting, traveling, music & dancing,
volunteering, and I am currently writing a book.
 I retired in 2009 from the Department of Environmental Protection after 16+ years
of server to the citizens of WV.
 I moved to Ravenswood in 2013 to be closer to my son Mike.

Though I am not home grown as people have stated. This is my home. I love the City of
Ravenswood and have gained many valuable friends since I have been here. I became
involved immediately and continue at this time to volunteering countless hours of
services to many various community organizations and other projects.
I bring valuable government experience including training, work ethics, character,
integrity, and honesty to help me in the position of Mayor.
I will do my best to serve the citizens of Ravenswood on a daily basis and carry out the
duties of Mayor. I hope I can count on your vote.
