Some people are not throwing their garbage in the proper places and not even
segregating it for proper and easy disposal. Some are just throwing it in the street, canals, rivers,

country. Waste Management is the proper collection, transport, processing, disposal, managing
and monitoring of waste materials which is mostly produce by human activity. This program
is implement to reduce the effect on health and environment (business.gov.au, 2018).
To further solidify this program, the government implement RA 9003 or the Ecological
Solid Waste Management Act. This is an act providing for an ecological waste management
program, creating the necessary institutional mechanisms and incentives, declaring certain acts
prohibited and providing appropriating funds. There is also the Ecological Solid Waste
Management Act of 2000 that provides a systematic, comprehensive and ecological solid waste
management in the country to ensure the proper segregation, collection, transport, storage,
treatment and disposal of solid waste through the formulation and adoption of the best
environmental practice in ecological waste management excluding incineration (RA 9003,
2000).
