Christian Vision of The Human Person: "Who Is Jesus?"
"Who is Jesus?"
There is no other definition who is Jesus, the God-Man. Jesus, who is a teacher, mentor or guru, have said
"I am who I am" reflects to whom Moses talked to and have also said the same thing.
There are some other prophets like Mohammad or Buddha that said they found the way but only Jesus
who said that "I am the way."
Jesus, who is the way but there are two choices that we need to choose. Either we follow Him as He is a
good man or He as the bad man who taught wrong doings.
Mark, Jesus' disciple, said something revolutionary while he is at Rome. "Jesus is the Lord, not Caesar"
which means that Jesus is the son of God and not Caesar. Also, Francis Cardinal George of Chicago have
said that "Where was the disciple of Caesar? But here in front of me, walking, is a disciple of Jesus."
When the Council of Chalcedon, a gathering and an Orthhodox teaching said that Jesus is the
"Hypostatic" which means he is the one, that contrast the monasticism and arianism.
The icon of the invisible God who become the embodiment of Jesus of Nazareth who have a physical
form that we can see.
Evangelization is not about any religious thing but becoming a friend of God which we can speak
intimately with Him.
Jesus, for me, is my older brother that is always at my side. Ready to carry my problems and save me in
times of sadness. I may not see Him in person but I can feel that He is always watching and guiding me
on what decisions I make. Jesus, my brother, my savior.
