Senior Production Manager

Operation Assistant

 Act as back-up to Manager in performing business operations duties.


 Provide support to Operations manager as and when required.
 Update internal operation procedures document as needed.
 Coordinate with Manger to schedule team meetings and to provide follow-ups.
 Support the Manager in managing and resolving operational issues.
 Work with Manager to provide excellent customer service.
 Participate in customer meetings and distribute minutes of meeting to the
operations team.
 Sort and distribute mails and faxes to respective personnel.
 Store, file and retrieve corporate documents and reports as and when needed.
 Order, store and organize all office supplies.
 Manage incoming and outgoing letters and packages.
 Perform general office administrative and clerical duties.
 Reconcile payments and receipts to various parties on time.
 Manage all office orders on regular basis.
 Maintain logs and spreadsheets for all office activities.

Department of QA Control
 Read blueprints and specifications
 Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
 Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
 Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
 Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
 Accept or reject finished items
 Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
 Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products

 Report inspection and test data

Operation Section Leader

 Human Resources

Much of the operations team leader’s role involves human resources, including
managing staff, creating policies, and providing helpful services for employees. Since
this role often serves as a direct connection between lower and senior staff, it’s one of
the most influential roles in the entire company.

 Staff Scheduling and Supervision

Scheduling and supervising staff members is a critical aspect of the operations team
leader’s job, as are balancing the needs of the company with the desires of employees.

 Coaching, Motivation, and Morale-Building

Coaching and motivating teammates to meet and exceed expectations goes a long way
toward building the operation team leader’s reputation. As the focal point of a
workforce, the operations team leader’s success ultimately depends on the
productivity of the group.
 Prioritization and Delegation

Operations team leaders must prioritize assignments and delegate tasks on a daily
basis. Fulfilling these responsibilities effectively distinguishes veteran leaders from
their novice counterparts.

 Introduce Process Improvements

Most companies expect their operations team leaders to help improve internal
processes and streamline business functionality. This involves researching current
industry trends and using that insight to form relevant, actionable solutions.

 Facility Management and Maintenance

Some operations team leaders also oversee facility management and maintenance. It
helps to have a working knowledge of local building codes, sanitation standards, and
health and safety regulations that pertain to the industry.

Maintenance Section Leader

 Maintain and repair Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic systems and


equipment.
 Assist in running an efficient maintenance operation which is able to fulfil
operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
 Manage maintenance projects.
 Responsible for the safety of individuals on the team and that of those
impacted by any maintenance activity.
 Understand and work in accordance with the company’s quality requirements
 Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to
maximize availability.
 Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in accordance to
minimize unplanned downtime.
 Record and document all work carried out on all equipment on both paper and
electronic systems as is required.
 Analysis of issues to root cause and development of countermeasures,
improvement actions and/or suggestions to improve.
 Control and source maintenance tools, equipment and spares.
 Document breakdowns, identifying root cause and remedial action to help
identify and resolve recurring issues.

Manufacturing Section Leader

 A manufacturing team leader is an expert in manufacturing activities such as processing and


packaging of materials for production.

 The job description of manufacturing team leaders involves motivating members of the team to
harness their potentials and work harder for the execution of projects.

 Their roles in a manufacturing leader also entails assigning tasks to team members and giving
them specific directions and procedures to follow in carrying out assigned tasks.

 They monitor team members in the course of their work and ensure that they comply with the
standards of operations obtainable in the establishment.

 They are responsible for providing leadership for the team involved in manufacturing.

 Every manufacturing project requires the supervision of a skilled and experienced person to
guide the team in ensuring production efficiency and quality; and that is where the
manufacturing team leader comes in.

 He/she exhibits great leadership skills by showcasing knowledge and skills to the team
members, giving them direction to go about their tasks and duties on the job.

 The leader sometimes takes the wheel and shows his/her team members practical ways to
execute difficult tasks.

 This gives the team members a clear direction of how to tackle such tasks on their own in the
future.

 The team leader recognizes the contributions of every team member and encourages them to
work together in harmony, sharing ideas and maintaining good relationships in the execution
of production tasks.

 He/she places the safety of the team members in high esteem and educates them on safety tips
and procedures to adhere to during manufacturing process.

 He/she also enlightens them on how to handle emergencies that may arise in the course of work,
and ensures that the manufacturing site is free of any form of danger, and is safe for team
members to do their job.

 As part of safety measures, the leader also ensures that all workers have protective gear and
clothing before going to site to work to safeguard themselves against production hazards.
