FOREWORD
1.What are basically considered tiny magnets due to the intrinsic magnetic moments
of charges?
2.The magnetism of an electron is how many times bigger than that of a proton?
4.What are soft magnetic materials that easily magnetized and also tend to lose
their magnetism easily?
a. magnetite and iron ore b. magnet and nickel c. magnet and domain
NATURE OF MAGNETISM
MAGNETIC
. FIELD-is the area in which
magnetic forces can act.
The atoms will then have a NORTH and
SOUTH pole.
These two poles are the place where the
magnetic forces are at their strongest.
MAGNETIC MATERIALS
Lodestones- are NATURAL MAGNETS
known since ancient times.
They are made up of magnetite and an iron ore.
The magnetic materials are always metal ,but
only a few metals are magnetic.
Rules of Magnet:
•Opposite poles ATTRACT
•Same poles REPEL
ACTIVITY 1: FILL ME UP!
