To Whom It May Concern;

I am writing a letter of recommendation on behalf of Mike Anderson. I have had the pleasure of
working side by side with Mike for the last 12 years. He has worked in several capacities involving
mental health services including that of a residential staff member, case manager, registered nurse, and
is currently enrolled in an advanced practice mental health program, and has done so in an excellent
manner. He is a hardworking individual who is dedicated to those he serves. He is able to learn quickly
and apply this information to his practice.

Mike is able to communicate well with both clients, as well as other professionals. He is able to
communicate both verbally and in written form. He communicates well with an interdisciplinary team.
His communication is timely and frequent.

Mike is very thorough in his assessment of clients. He is able to make accurate diagnoses. He is able to
plan and suggest appropriate and every changing treatment options.

Mike has a great personality. He is caring and compassionate. He is able to meet individuals where they
are at in their level of treatment. He is calm, and has a way of putting people at ease. He is able to
establish a good rapport with clients, as well as other professionals.

Mike is very knowledgeable. He is a natural teacher. He is able to explain things to clients in terms that
they are able to understand, regardless of their level of functioning. He is able to teach and educate on
various topics, including ones that may be difficult to discuss. He is able to incorporate not only disease
management, but health promotion into his plans of care.

Mike is a hardworking individual who is dedicated to those he serves. He is passionate about the
mental health field. He would be a great asset to a practice, as well as those seeking mental health
services. I would highly recommend him, without hesitation.

Respectfully,

Amy Christensen APRN, PMHCNS-BC
