Detailed Lesson Plan in English for Grade 7

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to;
a. Identify and classify the different WH- Questions
b. Formulating and responding to WH- Questions
c. Presenting an information brief (about daily life in the Philippines)

Film Viewing: 2012 Movie
The teacher will instruct them to focus and they should take down notes the
important information from the movie.

 What can you say about the movie?
 What is the message of the movie?
 After you watched the movie, is there any question that you made up on your mind?

WH Questions focus on a particular part of
the sentence and also WH Questions ask
for information and we do not expect a yes-
no answer”

“We usually form wh-questions with wh-


+an auxillary verb (be, do or have) +
subject + main verb or with wh- + a modal
verb + main verb:

Examples:
When are you leaving?
Where do they live?
Where should I park?
Why didn’t you call me?”

E. Application
Divide the class into four groups. Each group should give brief information about
Philippines News. After giving the information, they will classify, what should be the WH-
words or questions that will match for it.

Formulate your own WH- Questions base from the picture that the teacher will
give.
