Okowa Calls for Unity of Purpose Across Nigeria


On Friday, while receiving the Class of 1981 of
the Nigerian Air Force School, Jos, Governor
Ifeanyi Okowa, urged Nigerians to engage in
actions that will foster unity in the country.

“Oneness and unity of purpose have to be


projected and protected in our nation,”
Governor Okowa said, “In that strength of unity
and purpose, we will be able to move our nation
forward!”

The leader of the delegation, Mr. Ayodeji


Olusina, stated that the group was in Asaba to
thank Governor Okowa for appointing one of
their former classmates, Mr. Chiedu Ebie, as the
Secretary to the Delta State Government.

Village and
Entertainment Park in
Ugbolu, Delta State.

Okowa Moves to Further Reduce Maternal and Infant Mortality


In order to reduce the
level of maternal and
infant morbidity and to
promote the wellness of
mothers and children in
the state, the State
Executive Council has
approved the
construction of Mother
and Child Advanced
Medical Diagnostics
Centre in Ika North East

Delta State Government Moves to Improve Intra-State


Transport
To facilitate intra-state
transportation, on Friday,
November 1st, at the
State Executive Council
meeting, the Delta State
Government approved
the construction of the
roads linking Ote-Okpu
and Owanta, and
Aliesimie to Abavo.
