1) 24 Senators:
Natural-born citizen
At least 35 years of age
A registered voter
A registered voter
Not eligible for any re-election if he served for more than 4 to 6 years (President)
Judge of a lower court or engaged in the practice of law (Not less than 15 years)
Appointed by the President from a list of at least 3 nominees
Appointments with no confirmation from the Commission on Appointments
Office Tenure: Until they reach the age of 70 years or become incapacitated to
discharge the duties of their office
Must not have been candidates for any elective position in the election

Commissioner (Office Term: 3 years)
Without reappointment (Chairman and 2 Commissioners)
Chairman and the majority shall be members of the Philippine Bar who have
been engaged in the practice of law for at least 10 years
Appointed by the President with the consent of the Commission on Appointments
Chairman (Office Term: 7 years)
Certified Public Accountants with not less than 10 years of auditing experience or
members of the Philippine Bar who have been engaged in the practice of law for at least
10 years
Must not have been candidates for any elective position in the election
Appointed by the President with the consent of the Commission on Appointments
