OVERVIEW/PROJECT DESCRIPTION FROM LETTER OF INTENT:

I will make a video about concussion awareness that can be shown to all the sports teams before the
season starts. After watching the video they will fill out a form on what they learned.

GOALS: Your goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely (S.M.A.R.T.)

My goals are to learn about concussions, write a script, make a video, and have the video shared with
the sports teams at Pine Lake and my soccer team. Then have them fill out a form on what they
learned. I want to have the video done by the beginning of November.

RESEARCH CONNECTION: How does your project/product connect your research you’ve completed?

My project connects to the research I have completed because my paper was about neurology and I
wrote a little about concussions.

BACKGROUND: What do you already know about the topic?

I know that concussions can happen in any sport and that you are not supposed to play that
sport until the concussion has healed.
TIMELINE: List your timeline below illustrating how you plan to spend half of your hours on the project.

I am going to research the information until 9/15/19.

I will write a script until 9/30/19.

I will film a video until 10/15/19.

Then I will edit the video and finalize it until 10/30/19.

EVIDENCE: What will you produce to demonstrate that you have successfully completed this project?

I will produce a video that I will have shown to sports teams once it is completed, hopefully
before their season starts. Then I will have a form that people will fill out about what they
learned.
