The EcoStruxure Plant Certification programs provide a framework for individuals, and for organisations, to qualify
against the core competencies necessary for the implementation of solutions based on the Schneider Electric
EcoStruxure Plant portfolios and corresponding architectures.

For individuals, the EcoStruxure Plant Certification programs provide recognition of advanced technical expertise in
one or more of the core specializations of the EcoStruxure Plant portfolios and corresponding architectures.

For System Integrator organisations, the EcoStruxure Plant Certification programs are the starting point for entry

For end users, the EcoStruxure Plant Certification program provides additional assurance that engineers have met
the minimum requirements to implement solutions based on the EcoStruxure Plant portfolios and corresponding
architectures.

Upgrade Examinations
The Certified status is valid for three (3) years from the certificate date. Prior to certification expiry, those holding
the Certified status are entitled to attend an Upgrade Examination to fast-track the automatic renewal. The
Upgrade Examination is available for a six (6) months window, three (3) months up to the Certification expiry date
and three (3) months beyond.

Individuals have two attempts at the Upgrade Examination, those that fail with a score between 50%-69.50% are
allowed further attempts at the examination. Not passing the further attempts or failure to qualify within the
Upgrade period means the Engineer must re-enter the program at the beginning.

Once the Certified status has been achieved, the requirement to maintain Professional certifications is removed.
The candidate will only re-sit Professional certifications upon failure of a Certified Status Upgrade examination,
whereby the complete set of examinations must be re-taken.

Available Languages
All EcoStruxure Plant Certified examinations are available in the following languages:

After the Examination
The examination system will award either a PASS or FAIL grade after completion of an examination. Please take
care to note the examination result carefully as examination results are not automatically provided after departure

PASS Grade
The PASS grade for all exams is 70%. Results are provided to two decimal places, thus any grade greater than
69.50% will be treated as a “PASS”, and certificates will be posted to the address given at the time of examination
registration. Please allow for 1-2 months to receive the certificate.

FAIL Grade
For a FAIL grade, the examination can be retaken after a mandatory one (1) month waiting period, or by approval of
the Schneider Electric System Integrator Channel Manager (SICM) or the EcoStruxure Plant Certification Program

How to Challenge your Results?

There may be some circumstances when a FAIL grade has been awarded unfairly. For example, in the event of a
network connection issue during the examination, or that an examination question is ambiguous or outdated.

Under such circumstances, you are required to notify the EcoStruxure Plant Certification Team within one (1) day of
the examination for further consideration.

Email: EcoStruxurePlant.Certification@schneider-electric.com

Depending on individual circumstances, there may be cause to waive the one (1) month waiting period between
examination attempts or to award a PASS-CONCEDED in exceptional cases. Please allow for two (2) working days to
receive a response.
