ABSTRACT

Background:Malaria is a disease that became the center of public attention at this time,
because malaria can lead to the occurrence of Extraordinary Events (KLB). Level outbreaks in
a given region will have a broad impact on quality of life and economic and can cause death
(MoH, 2013). According to the WHO in 2010 there were 237 million cases of malaria and in
2015 the decline in malaria cases, there are only 211 million cases of malaria worldwide. In
2016, malaria cases are estimated to occur peningkata to 216 million cases worldwide. Most
cases of malaria in 2016 were in the African region (90%), followed by the Southeast Asia
region (7%) and the Eastern Mediterranean region (2%) (WHO, 2017).
Research purposes: The purpose of this study was to determine the vitality of larvae of
Anopheles sp. to the pond water has a different salinity levels in the village of Teluk Pandan
Hanura Pesawaran District 2019.
Research methods: The study design used completely randomized design are the type of
research plan The simplest of some sort of standard design. plan This is used if you want to
study the effect of multiple treatments with a number of replicates to be experimental units. In
this design, there are two of each group were selected randomly (randomization), this study
design to measure the effect of treatment in the experimental group by comparing the group
with the control group (Riyanto, 2011)
Research result:Obtained larvae live in the greatest of distilled water after 24 hours is the first
repetition as much as 17 larvae while the smallest in the third repetition as many as 14 larvae.
The larvae live in the water pond of the most substantial 1.8% after 48 hours by 4 larvae while
the smallest is the first larval life. The larvae live in the water pond of the most substantial 2%
after 24 hours as many as 20 larvae while the smallest is 14 larvae.
Conclusion:There was no significant difference between the larvae of Anopheles sp vitality of
the pond water and salinity levels in the village of Teluk Pandan Hanura Pesawaran District
2019
