To whom it may concern,

It is a pleasure to recommend Michael Anderson APRN for any psychiatric position he is

seeking. I have worked with Michael for the past 9 years in several capacities at our community
Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder treatment facility. From SSW Case manager, to team
leader at our residential facility, for several years as a Registered Nurse, and now as a
psychiatric nurse practitioner. He has shown empathy, compassion, and eagerness to work with
clients to achieve their goals in recovery. His ethics, prescribing and clinical skills along with
compassion for our clients, make him an ideal fit for any program.

Michael’s education, instincts, as well has his desire to expand his knowledge have made him
excel at his job as psychiatric nurse practitioner. He works well with all team members from
peer support specialists to triple board certified, psychiatrists. His communication skills are
excellent. He manages a large medical caseload that requires much multi-tasking,
organizational skills, as well as working independently in a rural setting with minimal direct
supervision. He has great rapport with community providers and clients alike.

Michael’s strengths are as impressive as his intellectual abilities. He is an active, outgoing

presence in our teams. He offers great advice, with a great sense empathy and maintaining a
sense of humor. He is able to take lead in stressful situations, but also knows how to work as a
team member when others take the lead. His upbeat nature and openness to feedback
demonstrates that he wants, and continues to, learn and grow. .

Michael Anderson has my highest recommendation as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse

Practitioner. He demonstrates excellence in all that he puts his mind to, combined with his
willingness to take feedback and constantly learn, and leads me to believe there will be no limit
to his growth and achievements. Please don't hesitate to contact me at if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Lori Guyton RN
