motors or multi-cylinder gasoline or diesel engines. The units are
compact, relatively inexpensive, and require a minimum of operating
attention and maintenance. They occupy a fraction of the space and
weight of a reciprocating machine of equivalent capacity.

A condenser is simply a heat exchanger, the purpose of a condenser in the

cycle of compression refrigeration is to change the hot gas being

evaporator. Condenser is basically a device used to condense a
substance from gaseous state to liquid state by cooling it.
