RHNTC-218 Bangladesh Customs Requirement From 01aug2019

1) Comply Bangladesh Customs’ instruction and submit declared value for Customs.
a. Direct shipment > shown on MAWB
b. CONSOL shipment > shown only on HAWBs
2) Declared value for Customs CANNOT be “NCV” nor “0.00” (Zero).
3) Due currency in electronic submission (to Bangladesh Customs) follow currency from port of
origin, declared value for Customs should be converted to currency used in port of origin
instead of USD.
Failure to provide the information as required by Customs may result in shipments being held,
penalties or legal action by Bangladesh Customs, as such, your participation is requested to fully
comply Bangladesh Customs’ requirement as well as ensure smooth delivery.
On Document – Declared Value for Customs must be shown on MAWB “Declared value
for Customs” Box. NCV (No Customs Value) should not be used.
In Cargospot – Declared Value for Customs input in “Declared value for
Customs”/Customs Box.
2) Consolation shipments (i.e. shipments with one or more than one HAWB)
On Documents – Declared Value for Customs should be shown on all the HAWBs.
In Cargospot – Declared Value for Customs input in “Declared value for
Customs”/Customs Box or if received from agent, provided in the Charge Declarations (CVD) line
thru FHL (i.e. CVD/USD/PP/PP/NVD/1234.00/XXX).
Failure to provide the as required by Customs may result in shipments being held, penalties or legal
action by Bangladesh Customs, as such, your participation is requested to fully comply Bangladesh
Customs’ requirement as well as ensure smooth delivery.
