TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I believe that education is the key to an individual’s success. As a future teacher I hold
this key. There are many children who do not succeed academically because they have been
labeled difficult or unable to learn. The reality is that children grow through a series of
definable but not rigid stages, and schooling should fit its activities to the developmental level
of the child.

In my journey of becoming a teacher, I want to make a difference by educating the

minds of every student through giving them the knowledge, skills and values that they need.
Every student has its own unique personality so each of them learn in different ways. My role
as a teacher is to influence and motivate my students through giving them the environment
that is conducive for learning where they can grow mentally, emotionally, physically and
socially. Having a good atmosphere, the teachers and students can grow together to create
positive outcomes and share their own ideas and experiences. I will be a teacher who will do
the hands-on learning to encourage my students to give their own opinions about what they
learned and experience. I am focusing on an inquiry based or exploratory method to come up
with cooperative learning, problem solving method and project method as well as doing
individual work to produced critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity.

I graduated as Business Administration major in Marketing Management but my heart

tells me to pursue Certificate of Teaching because I really loved children and I want them to go
out of their comfort zone. Being a teacher is not easy but as a teacher, I want to understand
the needs of each of my students because they have their own differences and priorities in life.
Learning is not just focusing on the traditional method of teaching instead as a teacher I want
to use different educational technology such as LCD, PowerPoint, Internet, Videos, mobile etc.
to become globally competitive and equipped with different ideas and skills. Learning is a
continuous process so does the teacher because teacher teaches the future educators.

I will be an inspiration to them to finished their studies and fulfill their dreams and
ambitions in life and to be a successful individual in our society. Students will become ready to
face different challenges and knows how to handle different situations because teachers
helped them to become a leader of society. They are the next generation to help those people
in need and to be productive in the field they are taking.
