AGILE LOCKER

Team ID: society changers

College name: Sri Krishna College of Technology

Guided by:
Mr.Thiyagu
Problem statement
• On basis of a recent article published by the Govt.of.India in data.gov.in nearly 18000
homes in each city is subjected to Robbery there is no system that adds a layer of
security to the homes
• To reach an acceptable implementation for the smart door lock (SDL), security should
be taken as a major challenge here almost all existing
RadioFrequencyIdentification(RFID), Near Field Communication systems(NFC) fail to
compromise hence there is an lacuna in the field for a newer design.
Why did we choose this problem ?
• LACK OF SECURITY

• SMART COMMUNICATION IN LOCKERS IS

INEFFICIENT INEFFICIENT

• NEED FOR BETTER SMART AUTOMATION

How did we solve the problem?
METHODOLOGY
• DFMA(DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURING
LOCKER
AND ASSEMBLY)
MASTER WORKING
LATCH LATCH
• TRIZ ASSOCIATED WITH IOT

FLOW PROCESS
OWNER ULTRASONIC
AUTOMATION SENSOR
How did we solve the problem?
• We started the solution by filtering the existing works, the solution for the problem was
then formulated
• AGILE Door Access system allows a campus to control doors as well as who has
access to and when they have access to the door. The system allows administrators
to set a door to always open, controlled, controlled with PIN, or locked. The doors
status can change based upon the doors defined operating schedule. If a door is in a
controlled state a user will use their campus issued credential at the door reader to
gain access. The system will verify the user has the privileges to gain access to the
location at that specific time.
How did we solve the problem?
SOLUTION PLAN:
1.Concept generation
2.Virtual prototyping and analysis
3.mounting & installation
4.Ergonomic,elegant&minimal

TECHNOLOGY STACK:
HARWARE COMPONENTS INCLUDE:
1. ESP8266 (NodeMCU)
2. Jumper wires
3. 9g-servo motors
OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE COMPONENTS INCLUDE:
1.ArduinoIDE
2.Blynk App
APPROACH:
The prototype of the idea was first finalized.
Then that paved a way to the prototyping and analysis along with actual dimensioning using
FUSION 360 CAD SOFTWARE.
The results / outcome / future
scope
ANALYSIS: of the casing of the smart lock
Under the following conditions
Force:100N acting along-y direction along the mounting
Accelaration due to gravity :9.8 m/s
The results / outcome / future
scope
