SUBJECT: 17th Regional Higher Education Press Conference

DATE: September 22, 2017

This Office hereby endorses the 17th Regional Higher Education Press Conference which will be
spearheaded by the Association of Tertiary School Paper Advisers of Region III (ATSPAR) on
January 16-18, 2018. Said conference will be held at Villa Alfredo's Resort, Barangay Baliti, City
of San Fernando, Pampanga.

This year's conference is anchored on the theme: "No Filter: Averting False Media through
Ethical Journalism." This annual campus journalism conference for college students of both
public and private higher education institutions aims to: 1) develop fellowship among campus
journalists, 2) enrich their journalistic qualities through series of lectures and competitions, and
most importantly; 3) discover roster of competitive journalists in Region III who will be
representatives to the 17th Luzon-wide Higher Education Press Conference to be held on
February 28 to March 2, 2018 at Baguio City, Philippines.
