1. Flooring – marbonite (light colour)

Concealed but accessible drainage.

7. Hooded white tube lights on either side of the reagent rack for working table
illumination.

8. Electric sockets for microscopes 8 per table (4 on each side).

9. (a) Stainless steel sink 2 per table on one side 19” x 12” separated from working
table by a
(b) raised granite slab.

10. Stainless steel tap with long neck one on each sink.

11. Suitable non-corroding drainage pipes from sinks with drainage outlet covered.
12. Hand wash basin (2 per laboratory) one stainless steel with tap and covered
drainage and the other ceramic.

13. Granite platforms on window wall and opposite wall in each lab, with underlying
storage cupboard with lockable doors with electric sockets.

14. Gas tubing passing under the working table with capacity of 2 burners on each
side of working table with good safety provisions.

15. Exhaust fans- 2 per laboratory

1 in Incharge room

16. Green boards- 2 in each practical class with light source over it
1 in Incharge room

17. Dark room- wall between 2 doors granite shelves height:- for specimens

18. Granite platform in dark room on opposite wall for computer(design will be
provided)
