DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
My emphasis is on the development of a design methodology that could help me create form and spaces that inspire
people’s lives.
To maintain and increase the landscape in the site.
To create an integrated environment where physical and mental healing takes place.
To juxtapose five elements of nature into the built form.
To explore sensory architecture in the built- form.
To integrate landscape as a major element into the built form.
To integrate water as a main element of healing.
Scheduling of vistas to connect user to the nature.
Cautious designing of acoustics.
The concept of Labyrinth to be considered in the design.
Space for outdoor yoga or the yoga with a view to be provided.
Courtyards for therapy workshops to be provided.
Noise control to be considered in silent therapy areas.
Use of fragrances that calms and relaxes your mind.
Cluster spatial organization to be considered.
Interactive spaces like discussion rooms, counselling areas and courtyards to be provided.
Recessed Entrance to be given, as it gives a sense of conviviality, when you enter the building.
Curvilinear therapy rooms.
Internal corridors should face courtyards or should have skylights.
DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
Isolation of the Facility from the urban environment.
Separation of Public, private and therapy areas.
Landscape design for courtyards to be provided.(healing landscape).
Creation of Vistas and cross ventilation for healing.
Integration of nature and water into the built form.
Experiential pedestrian pathways.
Green drive and walkways to be provided.
