OBJECTIVE

 Computers and information technology has a major influence on

the society. With the time society is becoming more and more
dependent on technology. Manual processes makes the work slow
and time consuming. And there is a high probability of errors.
 By using this module TPO can easily handle the management of
information about student profile in which TPO is act as an admin
module. This system provides a smart communication between
industry institute and students.
 We can store information of all the students. Students can maintain
their information and update it.
 Various companies can access the information.
 The system contains all the information about the students. The
system stores all the personal Information of the students and their
technical skills that are required in the CV to be sent to a company.
The system is an online application that can be accessed
throughout the Organization and outside as well with proper login
provided.
 With the help of this computerized system there will be easy
placement of the student’s, less job search time and reduces the
job of TPOs of colleges.

 Technologies that we learned

 JAVA - Java is preferred because it derives its most of its syntax from C and
C++ and more than that as compared to them it has simpler object model.
The main feature of java is it is a platform independent language.
 MYSQL - It is world’s most popular open source Database management
system. It is used in worldwide by major IT firms.
 HTML5 - It is a standard language used to create interactive webpages and
web applications which is easy to implement.

PROBLEM DOMAIN

 Nowadays, in all colleges campus placement are conducted which

offers job to selected candidates.
 Various software and other sector companies are conducting
campus selections
 for selecting merit candidates
 This procedure is carried manually, by collecting multiple copies of
their resumes, their government proofs etc. and sorting them
according to their courses then according to their academic
criteria.
 Through, this software our main aim is to make it an asset for various
colleges which face similar difficulties during campus placements.

It has company modules in which company
can directly interacts with the selected students. But not optimum
enough to sort the given data according to the given criteria.
But, it has one major drawback that in case of
power failure the data won’t be saved and there are high
chances that database can be corrupted. Hence, it is not
recommended for large databases.

 Android application for training and placement

It is an android based application which provides
a better way to make the placement process, less complex and
effective for staff and students. In this application students can view
their profile and request changes to it by changing feedback. It is an
user friendly application in which user gets easily notified.
But, this application carries a major drawback that
the information is stored on a server. Which sometimes makes it difficult
to access information because the server can be temporarily down.
SOLUTION DOMAIN

 The proposed system is fully computerized, which removes all the

drawbacks of existing system.
 Students logging should be able to upload their information in the
form of CV.
 All the users have some common services like changing password,
updating details, searching for details, checking the details and
reading the material uploaded by admin if the user is a student.
 Administrator has to do the services like adding events,
achievements .He can upload materials, search for student details,
and he has the right to approve the students.
 Proposed system is an online application that can be accessed
throughout the organization and remotely as well, with proper login
provided .
