1. Develop working knowledge of how computers and devices operate.


2. Apply skills and procedures to install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, mobile devices, and software.
3. Identify, evaluate and control hazards and risks in computer troubleshooting and networking.
4. Construct multiple networks and connect them together.
Course 5. Analyze and explain routing algorithms and protocols, process routing tables and configure routers for proper operation.
Objectives 6. Compare and contrast routing protocols and compare/contrast the functions and operation of interior routing protocols with exterior routing protocols.
7. Select appropriate routing and switching equipment for a given network application.
8. Compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of satellite communication.
9. Develop critical thinking and problem solving skills using both real equipment and Cisco Packet Tracer, a network configuration simulation tool.
