HOMI BHABHA CENTRE FOR SCIENCE EDUCATION (TIFR)

CHECKLIST

1. Complete your OCSC registration on INO website before March 26, 2018.
2. Please bring the following documents with you:
a. INO Hall Ticket
b. Letter for selection in OCSC (attached herewith)
c. Passport and photocopy of passport (If you do not have one / if your existing passport is
expiring before June 2019, apply for it immediately. We will need passport details of
every team member on the last day of the camp and not having a valid passport at that
stage may result in disqualification of the student.)
d. The identification card of your school/junior college
e. Original and photocopy of travel tickets and boarding pass if travel is by air

3. Please bring the following items:


a. Geometry box, writing material and writing board.
b. Books: We will be providing you with writing material and HBCSE has a well stocked
library; but you may still want to bring your note-books and favourite textbooks
c. Umbrella / Cap
d. Medicines: Please bring the necessary medicines which you may need.

4. No beddings are required to be brought.


5. Ticket Reservations: You will have to make your own arrangement for to and fro travel. Please
make all appropriate reservations to avoid last minute rush. For claiming TA, onward as well as
return ticket (in original and a photocopy) must be produced by the students whenever demanded
during the camp.
6. Parents/Guardians: HBCSE cannot offer accommodation to parents/guardians accompanying the
students. They will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation, food etc.

Note: All those who are appearing for NTSE exam should contact us at earliest.

Travel Entitlement

All outstation students selected for the OCSC in different subjects are eligible for III AC train
fare (mail/express) from the place of their residence/study to venue of the camp (i.e. HBCSE)
and back subject to production of original train tickets. Conveyance by auto-rickshaw/bus
(Non AC) from the place of residence/study to the nearest railway station/bus station and
railway station/bus station (at Mumbai) to HBCSE Anushaktinagar, Mumbai will be paid.

Local students will be eligible for actual cost of conveyance by auto-rickshaw/bus.

In case you choose to travel by air, you will be reimbursed III AC train fare on submission of
your boarding pass along with air tickets or the cost of air ticket whichever is lower.

Overseas students are not entitled to any Traveling Allowances.
