Universal Design for Learning (UDL):

Bubbl.us provides a streamlined process to create a graphic organizer. This is helpful for students who may
have trouble organizing their ideas and staying on topic. It also has different color and sizing options for
students with visual impairments.
Lesson idea implementation:
As a conclusion project on weather, students will be asked to create a Bubbl.us about the four seasons.
Under each season, students will be asked to include as many identifiers/characteristics of each one as they
can think of. Each season should be color coded and have a photo to go with it. After the projects are
completed, the teacher should print them out, laminate them, and display them somewhere.
Students will be graded on the accuracy of their descriptors for each season as well as if they included
photos and color coding.
Reflective Practice:
To take the project a step further, the students could be asked to use their Bubbl.us as an outline for an
essay. Each branch of the organizer can be made into a paragraph about each season, as well as an
introduction and conclusion paragraph.
