GAME OF THRONES
The entire series was fabulous. Brilliant acting, special effects, writing. Everything you could possibly
want in a show was all here, throughout every season. The long night was so unexpected. I couldn't have
been the only one who expected the dragons to do more. I assumed they were born for this purpose.
The end of that episode broke my heart (Daenerys, Drogon, Sir Mormont) Once I saw Aria kill the night
King, the whole series come flooding back into my mind's eye. The God of many faces, tutoring and
fighting. And now, the horse just waiting there. I have come to the conclusion that Aria is the chosen
one. She has patience, and she doesn't obsess over those who wronged her family. She was never
intended to be the one who killed Cersei.

Daenerys was always a good queen. Though she was never exactly a beacon of decency across the seven
kingdoms. She executed her enemies, she burned traitors alive, she used a mixture of love and fear to
keep her people in line. The appeal of Game of Thrones is that the characters are morally gray. She
wanted the seven kingdoms. No matter the cost. She was used to being loved and then she drops
everything. Her goals, her desires, to help save the land from the White Walkers. And when she gets
there, no one wants her. No one cares about her. They only want to admire Jon Snow, the one she loves.
The one who is also revealed, to have a stronger claim to the Iron Throne than she does. Something like
this was always bound to affect someone as determined as Daenerys. And then, she plays a crucial role
in defeating the Night King. Yet still, the people only want to love Jon. Jorah, her longtime friend and
protector, died fighting for her. Jon, as far as she is concerned, has betrayed her, along with Tyrion and
Varys, some of her most trusted advisers. And then, her child is murdered at the hands of her enemy,
who later beheads her best friend in front of her. By now, she is fueled with relentless rage. There is
nothing inside of her for the next few days, except for fury, envy and hatred. And when the time came
to take what was her's, she took it. She took the fastest, most vengeful path to defeating her enemy.
And don't forget, what she did, would have been a normal attack on a city (minus the dragons) during
the Middle Ages. When the bells rang, it was time to finish. But now, Daenerys simply did not have it in
her to stop. She decided to burn the city to the ground, for she had been pushed over the edge. She
sacrificed everything to help the people in the North. For it, she received no love. Her two closest friends
died. Her advisers betrayed her, her lover as well. She was filled with rage. And she chose to kill. This
was not the first time she chose to kill, in order to get what she wanted.
