DG sets are powered by ‘EICHER ENGINES’, well known for their ruggedness, economics of performance &
high reliability. Eicher Engines are based on AIR/WATER-COOLED technology and have powered more
than 50,000 DG Sets running across the country.
We are also pleased to inform you that all models of DG Sets manufactured by us, are tested and certified
as per latest Sound & Emission norms, issued by CPCB-II.

DIESEL ENGINE:
The engine is complete with:
• Starter motor.
• Battery charging alternator.
• Dry type air cleaner.
• Mico fuel pump.
• A1 class governing.
• Flywheel with flywheel housing
• Residential silencer
• First fill of lube oil.
• Engine protections: Low lube oil pressure & High cylinder head temperature.
• Engine protections: Low lube oil pressure.

ALTERNATOR:
Crompton Greaves/Leroy Somer/KEC, 50 cycles, and self-regulated, self-excited, screen protected alternator
of rated capacity at 0.8 power factor. The alternator will confirm to relevant BS/IS standard.

CONTROL PANEL: Standard/customized, louvered, steel construction Control panel, dust & vermin
proof comprising of MCB/MCCB, CTs for metering, Voltmeter, Ammeter, Frequency meter, Indications, Fuses
etc.

The offered Eicher engine is warranted for a period of 26 months from the date of dispatch from
factory OR 24months from the date of commissioning OR 5000Hrsof operation from the date of
commissioning, for whichever is earlier, against any manufacturing defect/defective materials only.
WARRANTY However, electrical and other proprietary items would be covered as per their respective
manufacturer’s standard warranty clause. The warranty will not cover the normal wear and tear or
damages caused by accident, wrong handling and improper maintenance
