SealXpert® Apexior Coating

Compound No.1
 SealXpert® Apexior Compound No.1 is a single component air dry coating. It is the standard remedy for the protection of “hot
wet” metal surfaces subjected to temperatures between 93°C (200°F) – 371°C (700°F). Equipment coated with SealXpert®
Apexior Compound No.1 will also increase in heat transfer efficiency.

 Direction for Use

 Round off all rough welds, sharp edges and remove weld spatter. Remove grease, oil and other contaminants. Rust, millscale and
oxide deposits on metal surfaces should be removed by hand or power tool.

 Stir each can thoroughly until the contents are uniform. Use of a power mixer is recommended. Remix thoroughly before using
and continue mixing during application. It is of utmost importance that no sediment should be left in the bottom of the container,
as this solid matter is a vital part of the compound.

 Use a perfectly clean brush for stippling well into the surface. Do not lay it on like paint. The object is to produce a thin
thoroughly adherent film on the surface and not an uneven mass of material. Adequate drying time must be allowed between
coats and at least 12 hours should elapse after the application of the final coat before subjecting to steam conditions. Do not use
synthetic bristle brushes.

 It’s recommended to use the product in well ventilated place.

 In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse with clean water immediately.

 Recommended Storage:

 Store in cool, dry place with temperature between 10°C - 38°C (50°F - 100°F). Keep container closed when not in use.

 When stored in the original unopened container, this product has a usable life of 24 months from the date of production.
