ACC Cement developed an Oracle ERP system in-house to handle their financial activities. It basically had four
modules: Finance, Financial Consolidation, Costing and Costing Consolidation. ACC Cement had 13 cement
manufacturing units and 22 marketing offices throughout India. The activities were to maintain the financial
system, process month closing activities, costing system maintenance, costing and financial consolidation across
the company and the subsidiaries and financial consolidation.

SIRO Clinpharm Pvt. Ltd. is one of the largest and one of the oldest contract Research Organizations [CRO] in
India, which undertakes Phase II to Phase IV clinical research on behalf of the pharmaceutical companies or other
CROs.The newly developed drugs invented by different pharmaceutical companies or independent research
institutes must go through a series of clinical trials in different demographic areas using that drug to prove its
safety and efficacy. Clinical data management is a complex process of building database to store clinical trials data,
data capture, error correction, data messaging, adverse effect reporting, data analysis and medical report writing.
The umbrella activities also include auditing [both process and security], database administration and Quality
Analysis. The process should follow the study protocol and should comply with regulatory authorities [DCGI in
India, ICH-GCP and FDA 21 CFR part 11 in the USA]. I have worked in SIRO as a System administrator, database
administrator, SAS programmer and SAS QA lead.

approval management system.
