INTRODUCTION OF ORGANIZATION

ALI EXPRESS

AliExpress is an Online retail service based in China that is owned by the Alibaba
Group. Launched in 2010, it is made up of small businesses in China and other
locations, such as Singapore, that offer products to international online buyers. It
is the most visited e-commerce website in Russia and was the 10th most popular
website in Brazil. It facilitates small businesses to sell to customers all over the
world. AliExpress has drawn comparison to eBay, as sellers are independent and
use the platform to offer products to buyers.
AliExpress started as a business-to-business buying and selling portal. It has since
expanded to business-to-consumer, consumer-to-consumer, cloud computing,
and payment services, as well. AliExpress is currently available in the languages
English, Spanish, Dutch, French, Italian, German, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian.
Customers outside of the country boundaries for these languages are
automatically served the English version of the service.
Sellers on AliExpress can be either companies or individuals. AliExpress is different
from Amazon because it acts only as an e-commerce platform and does not sell
products directly to consumers. It directly connects Chinese businesses with
buyers. AliExpress differs from fellow Alibaba-subsidiary Taobao in that AliExpress
is primarily aimed at international buyers.
AliExpress does not allow customers in mainland China to buy from the platform,
though most retailers are Chinese themselves.[8] The website offers a
popular affiliate marketing program where partners are rewarded for sending
visitors to the site with a commission on sales.

DESCRIPTION OF MANAGEMENT:
A collection of ideas which set fourth general rules on a how to manage a
business
or organization. Management theory addresses how managers and supervisors
relate to their organizations in the knowledge of its goals, the implementation of
effective means to get the goals accomplished and how to motivate employees to
perform to the highest standard. The three management theories as we studied
up
till now are:

HENRI FAYOL MANAGEMENT THEORY:

Henri Fayol’s management theory is a simple model of how management
interacts
with personnel. Fayol’s management theory covers concepts in a broad way, so
almost any business can apply his theory of management. Fourteen points of
Henri’s theory are:
Division of work
Authority
Discipline
Unity of Command
Unity of Direction
Subordinate of Individual Interest to General Interest
Remuneration
Centralization
Scalar Chain
Order
Equity
Stability of Tenure of Personnel
Initiative
Esprit De Crops

APPLICATION OF THAT THEORY IN THAT

ORAGANIZATION:

Ali Express is very successful in the use of management theory. According to

scientific management theory, Jules Henri Fayol argued that, management is not
static, but rather it is a continuous process which keeps on evolving. Therefore,
for
managers to be efficient and effective, they must continuously improve their
principles of management. Three of his aspects are followed by Ali Express.
1. Division of Work
2. Discipline
3. Initiative

OBSERVATIONS:

DIVISION OF WORK:
Ali Express allows the seller to build up and to continuously improve its
skills; thereby it can be more productive. According to principle, as far as possible
the whole work should be investigated, should be divided into small firms and
each
individual should be assigned only one part of the work. When employee’s
specialized, output can increase because they become increasingly skilled an
efficient.
DISCIPLINE:
Employees must obey, but this is two-sided: employee will not only obey orders if
management plays their part by providing good leadership. Every employee at Ali
Express is well disciplined. Not only in some outlets but at every outlet in whole
world. It was observed that the employee usually got into personal conversation
the
movement they found any opportunity of doing so.
INITITATIVE:
The initiative of Ali Express is to sell authentic products to consumer in certain
period of time with safe payment method and worldwide delivery.

QUALITATIVE APPROACH OR
QUANTITATIVE APPROACH:

QUALITATIVE APPROACH:
Ali express has more than fifty hundred thousand local seller through which they
sell their products, it is well known between kids adults woman children there are
more than a million products

QUANTITATIVE APPROACH:
It is growing day by day bigger and bigger because of its aunthentic products. New
local buyers and sellers always approach ali express.

ANALYSIS:
Through analysis we have seen that Ali Express is innovating and introducing new
products in the market to build buyer and seller relationship stronger, moreover
they are
introducing in different products and all products which are being used by every
one in daily use life.

RESULTS:

Employees of Ali Express are satisfied according to implementation of Henri Fayol

theory by initiating different products and maintaining discipline in between labor
and treating them fairly. Furthermore, they not only care about their customers
and
they do care about staffs and provide them facilities as long as their performance
is
good.
IMPROVEMENT IDEAS:
According to my view, the improvement ideas of Ali express should be as:
They should introduce more and more deals and discount coupons for their
loyal customers.
They should increase their customer care timings for helpline.
They should focus more on delivery time, like the product should be delivered
as per the given time to the customer.

CONCLUSION:

Ali express has strictly followed by using the theory of Henri Fayol. It can be
concluded that the firm has many targets which it has achieve in a given period of
time. The time-period is mostly a year. Therefore, in order to fulfil the targets
different strategies are adopted by the firm. It can also conclude that these
strategies have been successful and there is flexibility in the strategies, like the
discount vouchers code and deals. People do get obsessed with the products
because it’s a worldwide online shopping store and has millions of products with
enormous qualities in the best price.
