Hands-on Exercise No.

1 Total Marks: 10
Batch: 04
Freelancing

Solution:

Task 1: Read Terms of Service of Fiverr carefully (Link is given in the Guidelines). You’re required
to search the policy of Fiverr about Multiple Account creation.

Description of task 1:

As per the Terms and Policies of Fiverr, user is required to create only one account/profile on respective
freelance market as per his/her naming credentials.

If any of the Family member wants to create another Account/profile on the Fiverr, then he is required to
use his/her own naming credentials and information. However, the accounts must abide by Fiverr’s Terms
of Services. The most important rules to be considered in this situation are:

• The accounts may not sell similar services.

• The accounts may not purchase from each other.
• The accounts may not share the withdrawal provider (PayPal/Payoneer), so each Fiverr account
should have a unique payment/withdrawal provider account.
• We do not recommend you using a proxy/or VPN.
• We suggest you to contact customer support, let them know that your brother wants to start
freelancing and after their approval, your brother can create an account. You can use this approval
message as proof in case of any objection in the future.
Task 2: Read Terms of Service of Upwork carefully (Link is given in the Guidelines). You’re
required to search the policies of Upwork regarding Service and Membership fee.

Description of task 2:

5.1

the freelancers.

Upwork escrow deducts service charges after the completion of project and transfers the remaining
amount to the freelancer’s account.

5.2
Freelancers can pay 2 different types of charges on Upwork:

• A Freelancer will pay subscription charges if he/she wants to purchase the membership plan.
• A Freelancer can buy the connects.

These charges can be paid either by Debit/Credit card or through the Upwork account balance (the
earning of freelancer).
