WORLD YOGA DAY-2019:

Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The
International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing
yoga and on 5th International Yoga Day (21st June, 2019), AHPS D.D.Colony also practiced the
various forms of yoga along with the students as well as the staff on 21st June, 2019 in our school
premises.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY – 2019 :

AHPS D.D.Colony held its investiture ceremony on 06-07-2019 to swear in the school cabinet.
The cabinet members were sworn in by our Chairman and Director and honored the members
with sash and badge. The ceremony was held with lot of zeal and zest. The parents of the newly
elected members were also present to witness in pride the swearing ceremony.

NATIONAL SPORTS DAY – 2019:

Keeping the principles of co-operation and sportsmanship in mind, AHPS D.D.Colony added a
touch of service and friendship to our celebration of National Sports Day this year. Our students
from grade 6-8 spent their morning, participating in various games and sports on August 29th,
2019 and many students won many prizes in their respective sport and were an inspiration to
others. The importance of sportsmanship and co-operation was made to be experienced by our
geckos along with some fun and frolic.

MINI CHEFS COMPETITION – 2019:

It was conducted recently at AHPS, D.D.Colony with lot of creative and taste makers of AHPS
make together and particpated. We at AHPS provide and motivate the young people of this great
nation with a platform which is complete with all the required tools, equipment, facilities and
technology to become future chefs who are proud about cooking. Aspiring mini chefs teamed up
with a partner to compete in mini-chef-cooking competitions.

TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP – 2019 :

International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) was found by Choi Hong Hi in 1966. AHPS
D.D.Colony conducted competitions in Taekwondo on 30-09-2019 and our students grabbed
many medals and got laurels for our branch.

AHPS MEGA COMPETITIONS – 2019:

At AHPS, we believe that education is not all about learning theories, equations or concepts but
also teaches to learn and win outside classrooms. A major part of education lies in the skill and
talent enhancement of students. Amalgamation of academics and the extra-curricular activities
came alive in the year 2014 with Annual AHPS Mega Competition taking a concrete form. The
event is celebrated with fervor and glee and is full of advancing grandeur each year. This year
(2019) we won 11 Gold medals accompanied with many silver and bronze medals too.
