Dear Fellow Youth Ministers,

Greetings of peace!

I am pleased to inform you about the invitation for run the of UNANG HAKBANG (UH)
Formation this November 14 – 17, 2019 at the Our Lady of Antipolo Retreat House,
Antipolo City, organized by the Federation of National Youth Organizations (FNYO).

The Unang Hakbang (UH) is a formation program for youth ministers to have a common
orientation, a common language—indeed a common direction—for all efforts and
initiatives in youth ministry in the country contained in KA-LAKBAY: Directory for Catholic
Youth Ministry in the Philippines. This program has been created in collaboration with the
ECY Secretariat (formerly National Secretariat for Youth Apostolate), the Institute of
Catechetics and Youth Ministry of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), the Bukal ng Tipan
of the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (CICM), and the youth ministers
in the regions of Philippine Catholic youth ministry (see attached file).

We are inviting you together with at least two (2) youth ministers from your setting to join
this important formation program. You may invite to join you any of the following: youth
group animators, members of the Pastoral Team of schools members of the Parish Youth
Council. Subsidized Registration Fee is PhP 3,000.00 per person. Slots are limited only
and therefore we ask for your confirmation on or before October 25.
