This article proposes a rubric-based approach to operationalizing and assessing the entrepreneurial mindset in engineering students. The authors developed a rubric to evaluate entrepreneurial mindset across five dimensions: opportunity recognition, risk management, resource leveraging, value creation, and persistence. The rubric provides a framework to help educators develop learning outcomes and assess the entrepreneurial mindset in their students.
