Role Document - Jr. Business Analyst

Role Definition Jr.Business Analyst is the one who is responsible for being the voice of user/cl
internal teams. Handles gathering, validating the Product/Project requirements
preparing the Product strategy, road map and managing the Project developme
delivery cycle.

Responsibility 1. Market Analysis: Perform Market research on the Business ideas and validat
Deliverable potentiality of idea.
2. Requirements Gathering : Validate the idea by competitor analysis, trend ana
gap analysis and finding the opportunity
3. Idea to Execution Plan: Generating ideas for new processes, developing them
very essentially implementing them to ensure that they’re functioning well till th
Project execution.
4. Requirements Documentation: Generating a list of requirements (functional,
system, technical, etc.) and elicit the business requirements for further docume
and project planning.
5. Project Execution and Delivery : Responsible for the delivery of project by wo
along with Engineers/Development team with in the SLA agreements.
Tasks & Activities Market Analysis:
1. Source accurate data for a business idea across different sources like Capte
G2crowd, Search engine etc.,
2. Analyse the journey, touch points, roles & responsibilities of users and create
journey map.
3. Analyse competitor websites and list down all the required features.
4. Perform product gap analysis by prioritizing the features developed based on
pain point of customers.

Project planning:
1. Segregate the projects into different versions (V1, V2, V3). Assign a time fram
each version based on the priority of features.
2. Create Project documentation with all the features and develop the user stor
acceptance criteria and initial wire frames.

Project Execution:
 1. Collaborate with team in building the technical requirements and should prep
mock-ups.
2. Execute Project road map by collaborating with development team daily in a
paced Agile/Scrum development processes to deliver the features and function
3. Divide the Projects into backlogs and Sprints and deliver it to the teams.
4. Daily review the sprints and support the team.
5. Need to give a detailed report to the management on the extent of work done
daily basis.

Project Delivery:
1. Responsible for the finalization of product by testing the project without any
2. Once the product is launched, co-ordinate with the clients for product feedba
note down the additional requirements from the clients with relevant questions
3. Document all business requirements and responsible for the delivery of proje
within the SLA agreement.
