OVERVIEW

“EFFECTS OF SMOKING”

INTRODUCTION – This topic is introduce to the people that uses cigarette smoking and cigarette smoke is the one
of the most common forms of recreational drug use. Smoking is a practice in which a substance is burned and the
resulting smoke breathed into be tasted and absorbed in the bloodstream.

SCOPE AND LIMATATION – This study is quantitative in nature and the study will be limited to the population of
Senior High School students attending in Saint Andrews Academy in district of San Pablo.

DATA COLLECTED –The questionnaire shall be distributed to the selected samples during one of their classes with
permission from the classroom adviser and the note of approval of the school principle.

WAY OF DETERMINING – In analyzing and interpreting the data to come with meaningful finding in this study, the
statistical processer used to interpret the data quantitative are as follows: {1} Weighted mean; {2} Pearson Product-
Moment Correlation Coefficients.

HYPOTHESIS – This study established the null hypothesis below which was tested at 0.05 level of significance for
confirmation or disconfirmation.

EVIDENCES – The Philippines was 15th largest consumer of tobacco in the world in 2002 and currently has one of the
highest smoking rates in Asia, as well as some of the lowest cigarette prices. The Philippines rank second in number
of smoke, and has the highest number of female smokes in the 10- members Association of Southeast Asian Nation.

CONCLUSION- The number of tobacco related deaths are also getting higher. The researcher conclude that every
year cigarette smokers are getting higher in number or in population. The number of tobacco related disease are
also getting higher.
