Guidelines for participants:


1. Students can prepare still models/working models or can demonstrate experiments based
on the theme.
2. The project should involve scientific principle.
3. The emphasis should be on simplicity of demonstration, such that it could even be safely
conducted at home using house hold items. Preference will be given to working models.

Rules & Regulations:


1) Participants can choose topic related to theme .
2) Each project is to be prepared & presented by a group of 3 students.
3) The participants are required to submit 2 copies of write up on the
project/experiment/demonstration (not exceeding 200 words) at the time of write up
submission(date 7th December 2019).
4) Demo experiments should be safe & easily portable.
5) All the gadgets/equipments needed for the same to be brought by the participants.
6) Only table top will be provided (3feet x 2 feet).
7) Electric supply points will be provided if mentioned in the registration form.
8) Projects should be displayed on 16/01/2020.
9) Four charts/posters per project are allowed. (Size 3 x 2 m)
10) Project must reflect knowledge & skill of students.
11) Maximum Entries per School: 2 entries from each group.

Rules:
1. Presentation should be done by single participant.
2. Total number of slides not more than 12. (Min – 10, Max-12).
3. P.P.T. should be sent online by the school at sesoorja2013@gmail.com on or before 07/12/2019.
4. Participants whose P.P.T’s are selected shall be intimated 2 days before the event.
5. Selected participants will have to give final presentation to the judges.
6. Time limit will be 5 - minutes for final presentation.
7. P.P.T will be judged based purely on content, presentation and social relevance.
8. Maximum entries per school shall be two from each group.
9. P.P.Ts will be displayed on the screen for the judges and other participants

Rules:
1. Participants will identify ten bird calls /ten plants as per their group.
2. The participants will write down the names of the identified bird or plant in
the answer paper provided to them.
3. Each participant shall be given one minute to identify the bird or the plant.
4. There shall be rounds as per elimination and difficulty level will be increased.
5. Buzzer will be rung after every minute.
6. Each school can send a maximum of 3 entries from each group.

Rules:
1. Topic – FOREST CONSERVATION
2. A Total runtime of the short film including opening & closing, credit should strictly be a minimum of 3 minutes &
maximum of 5 minutes.
3. Short film must be uploaded to we transfer, YouTube links are not accepted.
4. Submission via pen drive is accepted.
5. Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted.
6. Decision by juries will be final.
7. Director name, list of participant & school name is must.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1. All participants for various competitions will be provided with participation


certificates and mementos.
2. Each category for each event shall be awarded 3 trophies on basis of merit.
3. Prizes for Science Exhibition will be as follows for four groups:
 First Prize- Rs.2,500/-, certificate and memento.
 Second Prize- Rs.1,500/-, certificate and memento.
 Third Prize- Rs. 1,000/-, certificate and memento.
 Best Working Model Certificate and memento.
 First Consolation Prize- certificate and memento.
 Second Consolation Prize- certificate and memento.
 Best School Trophy.

4. Decision of the judges will be final and binding on all participants.


5. Shreerang Vidyalaya as the host school may participate in the events but shall not be
judged for prizes.
6. Please refer to the guidelines and relevant information for the competition and fill the
registration form, enclosed with this invite accordingly.

Closing Ceremony & Prize Distribution will be held on:

 The trophy shall be judged on excellence in overall performance [10 marks]
